Trained, screened and accredited graduates of the Certified Relocation and Transition Specialists program (CRTS) manage all aspects of 55+ home trasitions from sorting, packing and unpacking to managing professional movers, home stagers and estate sale professionals. |
Certified Relocation and Transition Specialists provide
the following menu of services:
- Conduct an in-home assessment
- Develop an overall move plan
- Customize floor plans to determine what fits in the new home
- Organize, sort and downsize the home
- Arrange for the profitable disposal of unwanted items through auctuion, estate sale, buy-out, consignment and donation
- Interview, schedule and oversee movers and other third parties
- Arrange shipments and storage
- Professional packing
- Unpack and create the new home environment

- Manage related services, such as cleaning, waste removal, shopping, senior escort, assisting with selection of realtor and helping prepare the original residence for sale
- Some CRTS provide all services directly; others function in more of a project management role. CRTS have extensive knowledge about the costs, quality and availability of community resources.
- CRTS provide a single point of contact for our senior clients, their caregivers and housing administration throughout the relocation process.
